AIB is recognised as an Ability Company

AIB was delighted to receive external acknowledgement of its people programmes and was the recipient of a number of awards, including:     

• AIB Group successfully participated in the O2 Ability Awards 2010 programme and has achieved the status of “Ability Company” in “Retention and Wellbeing” category / best practice area. AIB Group was shortlisted for the Category O2 Ability Award for Retention and Wellbeing based on the high standard of their application form, which was verified by the Kanchi and PricewaterhouseCoopers Assessment team through an onsite assessment as part of the O2 Ability Awards 2010 programme.

• At the 2008 Chambers Ireland President’s Awards, AIB scooped the award for Responsible Employer – Large Indigenous Company. This was awarded in recognition of our Staff Wellbeing Programme. AIB was commended for its commitment to promotion of positive health measures in the workplace.

• Capital Markets Business Support Services(CM BSS) have retained the prestigious FAS Platinum Excellence Through People Standard.  This is Ireland’s national standard for human resource development and the accreditation and assessment processes are very intensive.
