AIB Mobile Banking
AIB Mobile Banking is a secure, safe and convenient way to manage your money on the go. AIB Mobile Banking provides the same high level of security as you enjoy on AIB Internet Banking.
How to access the Service
To access AIB Mobile Banking, go to your smartphone's web browser and type in www.aib.ie/mobilebanking.
AIB Mobile Banking is available to registered AIB Phone & Internet Banking users. You can log into AIB Mobile Banking using your existing 8 digit Registration Number and 3 random digits from your Personal Access Code (PAC).
Encrypted Website
To ensure you can access your accounts over the Internet with the utmost confidence, we use the highest levels of industry standard security. As part of this security we use 128-bit Secure Socket Layer (SSL) encryption to protect your information.
Inactivity
AIB Mobile Banking will automatically log you out after 4 minutes of inactivity. You must be actively browsing to stay connected (i.e. switching between accounts).
Keep your mobile software up to date
It is important for your security that your mobile phone software is kept up-to-date.You should check regularly for up-dates and download them following the instructions provided by the manufacturer of your mobile phone.
Extra Security Tips
Do set up a mobile phone password / PIN to help prevent your phone from being used if it is lost or stolen.
Do log out fully from AIB Mobile Banking when you are finished using the service.
Do Not let people use your mobile phone until you have logged out of AIB Mobile Banking.
Do Not store your 8 digit Registration Number and/or 5 digit Personal Access Code (PAC) on your mobile phone.
