Limits on the amounts of cash that you can lodge to your AIB (NI) business account
via the Post Office.

In line with the rest of the banking industry, we’re setting limits on the amounts of cash that customers can lodge to their AIB (NI) business accounts, via the Post Office®.

From the 1^st of July 2024, the following Post Office standard cash lodgement limits will apply to your business account:

• The maximum amount of cash that you can lodge to your business account, in a single day, via the Post Office, will be limited to £10,000.
  
  
• The maximum amount of cash that you can lodge to your business account, in any rolling 12-month period, via the Post Office, will be limited to £250,000. Please note that cash lodgements made prior to the 1^st of July 2024, are excluded from this rolling limit.

If you attempt to make a cash lodgement at the Post Office, after the 1^st of July 2024, that will result in your account exceeding either of the above limits, the transaction will be declined.
